The console says "HTTP 401 UNAUTHORIZED" • Not getting feedback

Nothing to worry about, you've pasted something incorrectly.

You've set everything up and Shake is working, but it's not sending feedback and the console says something along these lines:

E/Shake (13570): retrofit2.HttpException: HTTP 401 UNAUTHORIZED

This can be caused by:

  • the wrong API key used in Shake.start → Please verify that your key is copied and pasted correctly

  • (only Web SDK) wrong domain name used in Shake.start → Please verify that domain name used in Shake.start is matching domain name of your app on dashboard

  • (only Web SDK) app not marked as localhost → Please check "Localhost build" checkbox when creating a new app for localhost
