Standard conditions apply, including but not limited to:
Offer is valid with a current invoice from any competitor.
Offer cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Offer can be applied to any Shake annual plan and add-on.
Credit will be applied to your Shake workspace in an amount equal to the amount that is payable to the competitor as of the date of switching to Shake, for the plan and add-on you need on Shake, and are valid until the end of your current billing period with the competitor.
You're paying $12,000 annually for a competitor, paid on January 1st each year.
On Shake you need a "Premium" plan ($1,920 annually) and the "100k to 1M devices" add-on ($3,000 annually) which total $4,920 annually.
You decide to switch to Shake half way into your annual contract there, on July 1st.
This is what happens:
Your billing date remains January 1st each year.
Since you're switching in the middle of their annual plan "the amount that is payable to the competitor as of the date of switching to Shake" is 50% of your $12,000 — which means $6,000 of credit are instantly applied to your Shake workspace.
"for the plan and add-on you need on Shake" means you need $2,460 for the remaining half of the annual plan on Shake.
Your credit is automatically applied and:
Shake is free for your team until the end of your current billing period — until January 1st next year.
$3,540 of credit still remains yours.
"and are valid until the end of your current billing period with the competitor" means if your usage grows after the day of switching to Shake and before January 1st next year (and you need to buy a bigger plan or add-on) the remaining $3,540 of credit will always automatically be applied.
