What counts as a unique device?

Unique devices represent the number of individual devices your app is installed on, with Shake SDK inside.

Every app install is counted as a single unique device. Shake keeps track of the total number of installations you have across all active apps.

What is a unique device add-on?

If you want to distribute Shake within an app that runs on more than 10,000 unique devices, you will need to purchase a unique device add-on.

There are a few depending on the number of devices you have, and you'll be billed one of the following alongside your Starter, Professional or Organization plan:

What happens if my app exceeds the 10,000 unique devices included in my plan?

If you choose to use your app on more than 10,000 devices, your workspace will notify you of this, as shown below:

By clicking 'visit billing', you'll be redirected to Billing and prompted to adjust your plan by purchasing an add-on.
